Malaga is the capital city of the Costa del Sol which is situated on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The city is a port in Andalucía, Southern Spain and it is known as being a major holiday resort.The city is not only well known for its sandy beaches but also for its rich history, additionally being the birthplace of the famous painter Pablo Picasso.

This modern city merges well with its historical background catering for all types of visitors, for those that wish to appreciate the past and those that want to discover the future.

The climate in Malaga is very nice the Mediterranean coastline regulates the summer heat to a more comfortable level and the Malaga Mountains form a good barrier barrier to protect the city from the cold.

Great historic monuments include the imposing Baroque Cathedral, popularly known as ‘La Manquita’ (One Armed Woman), referring to its missing east bell tower. High on the hill above the city is the Parador of great historic importance. It was once a Moorish castle and is a wonderful place to either stay the night or have a long lunch with panoramic views over Malaga city.

Beginners
Absolute beginners are accepted every first Monday of the each month during the year. At times (during summer) beginners can book in the middle of the mont; ask by phone/email.
Certificates and Reports
A Certificate of Attendance is given to each student at the end of their course, as well as a detailed report from the teachers outlining important aspects of the course and containing recommendations for further study.

Spanish Intensive General Spanish Course
Our standard course takes place throughout the year and students may join this course on any Monday. 4 lessons daily. The morning/or afternoon is divided into four lessons and three teachers usually share the class.

Spanish Super Intensive General Spanish Course
This course is suitable for students who want to maximise on work carried out in the Standard Course. 6 lessons daily.

Spanish Combination Course 25 (Intensive Plus)
On our Combination Course, you will follow the Standard Course in the mornings and you will also have one or two morning/or afternoons of individual lessons.

Spanish Combination Course 35 (Super-Intensive Plus)
In this Combination Course, you will follow the Intensive Course in the mornings and you will also have one individual lesson.

Individual Courses (One-to-One)
Individual tuition is offered at all levels, from Beginners to Advanced throughout the year. These courses are designed for students who wish to make the maximum progress in the shortest possible time and designed to meet the needs and objectives of the individual student.

Examination Preparation Course for DELE exam
In today's competitive world it is necessary for job seekers to have the highest qualifications possible.

General Spanish Course with Options:
Business Spanish - Legal Spanish - Spanish Literature - Spanish an Latinomerica History - Hispanic Civilization - Spanish and Flamenco dance.

Students availing of this option follow the Standard General Spanish course in the mornings and take the option-course three afternoons per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).

Accommodation during your Spanish Course

1) Spanish Family : Immerse yourself in the Spanish language and culture by having us arrange your accommodation with a host family. Almost 80% of students choose to live with a spanish host family during the first weeks of their program.

Staying with a host family is an important and rewarding part of the student's learning process. The students receive their own house key and are only required to bring their own towels. Students can choose half-board or full-board, and accommodation in a single or a double room. If there is more than one student with a family we will look for an international roommate in order to encourage the use of Spanish 24 hours a day. To select the type of accommodation that suits you best or to inform us of any special (nutritional) needs, you can indicate your preference on the bottom of the registration form.

What means to live with a Spanish family?
* Sleeping in a single room, sharing the the rest of the flat/house with the family
* Half board - breakfast and lunch
* You will be integrated into the daily life of the family and they will treat you as their friend
* They will help you with your exercises as best they can (they are not teachers, but they speak everyday spanish)
* They will offer to bring you wherever they themselves go: Cinema, pubs, dining with friends ...
* If you have any problems in the town they will stay with you and help you.

Living with a Spanish host family :We ask that you reserve your accommodation with a Spanish Family at least 2 weeks in advance. Malaga and Alicante are popular tourist destinations and if you wish to book accommodation during high season we advise you to make the reservation as soon as possible. We do accept last minute reservations, please check accommodation availability with us.

2) Apartments : We also offer you the option of living in shared furnished apartment, in an individual or a double room. Students can reserve an apartment or search by themselves for another type of accomodation. By living in a shared apartment you share your life with 4 or 5 people from the Institute. You share: a living room where you can meet or watch television, a kitchen where you can prepare your meals and one or more bathrooms. That means that you will live with people of different nationalities and that you will practice speaking Spanish.

We ask that you reserve your accommodation in an Apartment at least 2 weeks in advance for Malaga and Alicante. They are popular tourist destinations and if you wish to book accommodation during high season we advise you to make the reservation as soon as possible.
